2. Once the zip file has downloaded, go to your Downloads folder in Finder.
The zip file may have decompressed itself into a folder. If this is the case, drag that folder onto the Desktop. If not, move the zip onto the Desktop. Once it is there, double click on it to open it. You will notice that the unpacked folder contains three items, a "documents" folder, a "media" folder, and a file called "teaching_portfolio.rsw". The two folders ("documents" and "media") are where you will place copies of all items associated with your teaching portfolio. Store your documents as PDF files in the "documents" folder and all pictures, movies, or sound files in the "media" folder. You may need to move copies of files out of iPhoto or iTunes to be stored in that folder.
3. Double click on the "teaching_portfolio.rsw" file. This is the "raw" RapidWeaver file that has the beginnings of your portfolio. You will need to add a few more pages now and will continue to add pages and entries throughout your education courses and student teaching.

4. To add a new page into your "Portfolio," click the "+" in the middle of the RapidWeaver window. This will open a set of options on the right side of the RapidWeaver window.
5. Notice the three pages on the left of your screen. Two are individual pages and one is the beginning of a "nested" set of pages.
6. Click on the page titled "INTASC Principles." You will see a list of all ten INTASC Principles displayed in the right frame and eight individual pages nested under the main INTASC page in the left frame.
