Artifacts

What is an Artifact? How do I get one?

This page has information about INTASC principle artifacts.

Artifacts are evidence that you understand or can demonstrate understanding of the INTASC principles. Artifacts usually come from your coursework or from a specifically assigned task from your instructor. Experiences you have outside of the classroom may also be used to support your understanding of what it means to teach. Examples of artifacts include completed tests, papers, lesson plans, video and audio clips, childrens' works, and other digital items supporting the INTASC principle.

When your digital portfolio is ready for its final evaluation, it should have several artifacts supporting each INTASC principle.

Every time an artifact is associated with an INTASC principle, a separate rationale must be included.
